  Monday, Oct 23, 2006 Poor Shopper Girl, tampa Well... Shopper spent most of the weekend at the vet, turns out she does have Diabetes Insipidus, which means she will have to have eye drops everyday for the rest of her life to control it. The sad part is she also has Glaucoma in her left eye. Basic eyeball pressure should be measured with a value of about 15 - 20... Shopper's eyeball had a pressure value of 70! Very painful. Currently, she is blind in her left eye... we are doing treatments in her eyes and so far they are responding and the pressure is down to 35. However, if it doesn't stay there and/or get a little lower we'll have to have her eye removed. I'll give updates as I get them. |
