     Thursday, Feb 14, 2008 Shoot With Beckstead II, tierra verde/tampa Happy Valentine's Day! So Monday and Tuesday I had a great time attending (along with 12 of my fellow comrades) a "Shoot With Beckstead" workshop here in town hosted by my buddy Phillip Lloyd. We shot all day on Monday alongside one of American Photo magazine's Top 10 Wedding Photographers in the World, David Beckstead. We ended up primarily in two locations, Ft. DeSoto and Ybor City. We had a model for each location and did everything from shoot with harsh light, low light, even nighttime street light. Tuesday, we all got together to critique (and perfect) our images. All in all it was a fun workshop and I know that it has changed the way I shoot and look at light and shadows. A perfect start to the wedding season. Tomorrow, I will post more shots from the workshop and Friday I will have a few of my favorite finished photos.
